SEEKING: NEW MEDIA copywriter
Job Description
Fun, young Charleston-based company seeks a new media copywriter to join our marketing team. Our new media copywriter will have a way with words and be the source of clever, imaginative copy. You will generate engaging marketing copy for ongoing campaigns, as well as be an integral part of the company’s new media initiatives (corporate blog, a social media presence, etc.) The copywriter will work closely with our in-house graphic design team and communications team on projects such as website content, product copy, corporate blog, email marketing campaigns, etc.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have interest in and experience with the following:
• Participating in online discussion forums
• Reading/writing blogs
• RSS
• Emails and email marketing
• Social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, or something comparable
• Excellent communication skills, obviously
• Familiarity with Mac platform, ideally

Experience: Ideally 1-2 years experience, but excellent writing skills and a passion for your work are more important.
